Ponch McPhee, self-proclaimed revolutionary.
« on: May 13, 2012, 09:28:11 pm »
WARGARBLE revolution WARGARBLE!, by Ponch McPhee of the Greene County (Virginia) Republican Party. Some of you might already know Greene County, aka the place that spawned the creator of Sonichu. Its reputation for crazy continues on.

Quote
The ultimate task for the people is to remain vigilant and aware ~ that the government, their government is out of control, and this moment, this opportunity, must not be forsaken, must not escape us, for we shall not have any coarse but armed revolution should we fail with the power of the vote in No-vember ~ This Republic cannot survive for 4 more years under-neath this political socialist ideo-logue.

Ever the partisans, the Greene County (Virginia) Republican Party tried to spin this incident as if yarn. So far they: previous leadership for the publishing of wargarble, uses this incident as a means to attack Obama and attempts to misconstrue what was published. Highlights include:

Some Obama supporters said controversial things too, that make what Christopher threatened to do a-ok! Except for how The Smith Act of 1940 handles treason.
Quote
Such editorial comments are protected by 1st Amendment to the Constitution, as were the controversial comments made by Ted Nugent, Bill Maher, anti-American preacher Jeremiah Wright ('God damn America.' - Blames USA for 9/11), disgraced Presidential Czar Van Jones and others.

You fail history forever. Blatantly ignoring the American Revolutionary War and what "the blood of patriots and tyrants" means (death duh) is just scummy.
Quote
Perhaps the author was borrowing from Thomas Jefferson who wrote, "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms, is as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."  He also wrote, "And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the right of resistance?  Let them take arms.  The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them.  What signify a few lives lost over a century or two?  The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.  It is its natural manure."

I thought this was funny, because Ponch McPhee and all the spelling errors. I knew I should have called him Ponch and wondered if he had sidekick named Righty.

Ponch hosts a public affairs radio show on WTJU, “Freedom Watch” which runs on the 5:30am time slot Saturdays. Assuming Ponch is not incarcerated he will return to his show. The station’s general manager, Nathan Moore, is willing to tolerate him for some reason.

I took one look at his name and thought, "Is this a real person?"  Seriously, his name sounds like it came from a book title. Ponch McPhee and the Liberal Conspiracy.
