Oh what up. Added by the fact that the black community also supports same sex marriage, all those religious bigots must be furious and all those queers who said that the black community is to blame for homophobia can now shut up and sit down.

No, of course not. But it does break down the myth that the African American community is more homophobic than others. There also a recent article (I can't recall the URL) that said that many African Americans and Latin Americans supported President Obama after he supported SSM.

I have no idea.  As a cracker-ass honky, I don't really feel qualified to speak to that issue.  I can, however, tell you that the NAACP still has a good deal of political influence.

I don't think that's the point.  I think the point is that the NAACP showing it's support is a HUGE boost for gay rights and also proves that the fundies don't have as much support on the issue as they may think.
