There Should Be A New "Progressive Triumphs" Section.

I have a new idea for a sub-forum here on FQA. PROGRESSIVE TRIUMPHS! This with be a section on articles detailing various triumphs, successes, instances of justice, etc.

Basically a "Good News" section detailing Progressive success stories. It could be injustices undone, bad guys punished, wingnuts stifled, just laws passed, unjust laws blocked, successful protests and other good things.

For too, long, we've had story after story of bummers. We need to hear the other side of the story. It's hard to "Fight The Power" when morale's in the toilet. We need a spirit of cautious/realistic optimism, hopefulness, confidence and a reasonable idealism.

Therefore, we need stories of "Progressivism Winning The Day!". We need to embrace stories of progress in Progressivism!

Waddaya say, guys?

is it political or social activism, though? that's why i raised the point. it's an open question.

I don't think a dedicated section is called for, but you can always start a "Progressive Triumphs" thread, or even make a thread for each new thing and tag it [Progressive Triumphs] in the title or something.
