The last boss of Persona 5 was actually a bit challenging... not nearly as much as Izanami-no-Okami, though.  That bitch was brutal.

Yeah, it'd probably be easier in NG+, since that's the only time one can fight the Reaper.  Seems that, after doing that just once in 5, we just kinda roflstomped everything up to Yaldabaoth, himself.  Almost needed a soma, for him.  ...Except the cock chariot, Mara, for some reason.

It's time for me to post news that's exciting me that no one else cares about!



Awwwww yeah. They finally gave a release date for an American release. Just two more weeks and I'll finally get to play too!

I beat them both around lvl 75. I found Yaldabaoth more exhausting and more involved, but Izanami definitely hit harder. Izanami gets points for being harder to reach than Yaldabaoth since you pretty much have to try to get Persona 5's bad endings, while getting Persona 4's true ending is kinda obtuse. Of course, I don't think either fight had me using the most efficient parties in the world. I used Yu, Yukiko, Yosuke and Naoto against Izanami and Akira, Morgana, Makoto and a rotating slot for Yaldabaoth.

Ann with Concentrate and agidyne absolutely obliterated Yaldabaoth and all but one of his arms.  Boosting her attack was pretty much just a formality, at that point.

By the end of the fight, I had Haru taking advantage of her evolved Persona's immunity to Psy and I had Akira using a Persona that was immune to Nuclear to shrug off the arms reflecting attacks back at me. Morgana was pretty much entirely focused on healing, while Makoto punched things until I needed her to heal. It doesn't help that the only two party members I had reached Confidant rank 10 with were Haru and Futaba.

Xbox One X? Well good news Nintendo, Wii U is no longer the worst console name in history. And is it supposed to look like a stereotypical shitty Xbox Live gamertag? Coz it does - "X boxone X". Lucky they didn't call it "XxxxEliteSniperzXxxxx". That'll be the next console probably.

Best part? If the Xbox One was the XbOne, then this is the XbOX. They were attempting to be clever.

So...... Sony's "press conference" was... kinda crap. Aside from the VR fad, they announced two games. And some DLC. At least Microsoft's showing had new stuff and some improvements for Xbox owners to look forward to (backward compatibility extension, specifically), even if none of their games were actual exclusives.

Still hyped for Monster Hunter. And Shadow of the Colossus.

Monster Hunter does look nice. As does Spiderman. There are some games there that I want to play.
