This brave politician is merely putting forth a "modest proposal". I see no issue here.  ::)

BAHAHAHAHAHA!

Also, a summary for those who don't want to watch the video:

Nina Turner proposed a bill that requires men to have a signed affidavit from their sex partner before they can apply for Viagra.  And then they need to visit a doctor and therapist to determine if the problem is actually physical or psychological.

You know what they say.  Turnabout is fair play.

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

What if his partner is his hand? His partner really would be signing the affidavit!

Sorry, that was a horrible attempt at a joke.

So if a man is having an affair, does he need to get both his wife's and his mistress' signature?

Him. Good question.

On a related note: if you want to have lots of casual sex with people you barely know, and most likely haven’t even met at the time you are getting the prescription: who’s signature can you get?

Can I get odds that some Republican is going to try and make it so that only female sex partners are able to sign that required affidavit?

That'd be incredibly easy to bypass.

"Hello friend who is also female.  I need condoms.  Can you sign this affidavit for me?"

"Why sure, friend who is gay.  I can sign that for you."

"Thank you.  I'll find some way to return the favor in the future."

No, they wouldn't.

After all, then it would become plainly obvious to their spouses that they're being cheated on XD

As much as I support this bill, I feel its not quite good enough. I think prostate examinations should be necessary to help correctly diagnose the problem. Not to mention the men need to go to counseling where they can learn how to best live with the life god has dealt them and to turn away from being such shameless man sluts. Only after this can they get their medication, but that must be put on their permanent medical file. Of course any clinic that prescribes ED medication can of course no longer receive any government funding, and any company may deny health insurance coverage of ED medication based on their own moral grounds.

<In case you didn't notice I was being sarcastic.>

I think I covered all the things the republicans are trying to do to women, Did I miss any?
