It's a great movie, but I prefer Sixteen Candles, myself.

Someone was just saying that they were on a kick with a couple other movies. Sixteen Candles was one of those movies.  I guess that means I'll have to check it out.

I didn't like Pretty in Pink.  Molly Ringwald does not make a good wallflower.

The Breakfast Club is my mom's favorite movie. I practically grew up watching that.

Personally, I've never seen it. Though now I'm curious as to what all of the fuss is about. I may give it a watch at some point.

A bunch of stereotyped cliché teens get detention and go through a more or less forced journey of cultural exploration and understanding due to limited exposure. They all leave the detention to the tune of 'Don't you forget about me' by Simple Minds. Surprisingly, the pseudo-greaser does not stab everyone else.

Despite knowing about indoctrination I thought it was a good idea to put a human Reaper near my office. Now I am a sentient husk :(.

I don't like The Breakfast Club because the nerd doesn't get a girl.

That's sure a cynical take on the film, don't you think?

I don't like it because Ally Sheedy's character finds acceptance through conformity :(

Yeah.  How dare she find common ground with other people!

Also, the nerd earns tons of respect.  What happens to him after is all headcanon!
