Man Tortures Dog for Four Years

This is one of the most rage-inducing stories I've read in ages. Some scumbag from Ohio named Jeremy Shane Temple (remember that name for when he graduates to torturing humans) has been starving a poor German Shepherd for four straight years. The poor dog, who was found dehydrated with a skeletal figure, was also suffering from infections and heart worms. Temple is, appropriately enough, facing animal cruelty charges because apparently we can't put him in a stockade for four straight years, which I think would be a more fitting punishment. (But of course, that's just the rage talking right now.)

Hasn't it already been established that you're a diagnosed sociopath?

Sorry for the offense, it just felt weird for you to comment simply to say that you have no emotional reaction to the issue.

That being said, I'm not going to comment on the issue because I refuse to read the article.  I don't think I can handle it right now.

Bastard should be starved in prison for 4 years. 

Wish the 'cruel and unusual punishment' law could look the other way... But only for things like this, of course.  Animals are a hot button for me anyway.

I read about this, now. The dog's getting help and will hopefully be okay. The pooch has been renamed "Joseph" (it's original name was 'Toby') and is getting the help it needs.

When questioned about the abuse, the slug that owned the dog said, "It's not human"!

I don't get why this guy would bother to get a dog if he can't or won't care for it. It's like he got a dog for the sole purpose of sadistically abusing it rather than for a pet.

He even told concerned neighbors a whopper about how the dog had a weird rare disease or something.

Jerk should find a huge bonfire and jump into it.

Yeah, that was my take as well. Someone who simply neglects an animal wouldn't bother to make excuses when questioned by neighbours. The whole thing seems way too deliberate.
