I'll reserve judgement until I see it.  I did see an older movie also based on the books called "Princess of Mars" which was pretty bad, so hopefully this one will be better.

Was that the one with Traci Lords as Dejah Thoris? That was pretty lame. To be honest, it was so bad, its making me hesitate about seeing the new one.

Why?  That was made by the Asylum.  A company notorious for bad movie rip offs.

Ironbite-this one's by Disney so it should be tons better
