So you may have seen Conservapedia's little front page entry here.

http://fstdt.net/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=86473

I think that God indeed does have a sense of humor.  Sadly, I don't think that Andy will ever realize that he and his site are a few of God's jokes.  Like I said, the divine has a fucking strange sense of humor.

Sometimes I think Andy could be a Troll making fun of conservatives. Being the son of Phyllis Assfly doesn't help.
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

My brain engages its protective circuits at that. As soon as I read a line, I forget the previous one.
That said, I've stopped trying to anticipate what people around here want a while ago, I've found it makes things smoother.

...Atheists don't have a sense of humour...?

Fuck, he's never listened to George Carlin, has he?

The fact that I can't stop laughing at this quote kind of contradicts Andy's little assertion about atheists there.

I think the following video is appropriate to this line of discussion.

Attila the Hun was an atheist?

Nobody really knows what he believed, but considering how long ago he lived, it's very unlikely that he was. Nobody was an atheist in 434.

I think Yahweh has a dark sense of humor. He straight up trolled Abraham.

Age of Empires taught me that Huns were kind of atheist. In absence of claims to the contrary *shrug*

The time argument doesn't really hold water; it's not that simple. Just look at the Greek philosophers: deists at the most. People's faiths were diverse in ages past just as much as they are today.

God gave the Conservapedia staff a time machine, so this is why they claim to know these things.

They lost it by packing it full of bibles and sending it into the future without a return driver.  How could God have known they'd be so stupid?  He isn't known for choosing people well.  Eve with the apple, the time machine...

It doesn't mean we shouldn't cut Him a little slack.  He worked in human resources before the "god" job opened up, and he's really improved a lot.

Oh, he did not. That's just silly. Time machines are of science, science is of the devil, ergo time machines are inherently devilish. You know better than that, StallChaser.

But god did tell Andy all about that. And everything else that ends up on that site. It's like how Jeebus would talk to George W., deflect soccer balls in South America, and flood New Orleans as punishment for Mardi Gras.
