Oh, your grandma's just old-fashioned. I mean, statistically you're safer meeting a bunch of weirdos from the internet than you are putting your face into a jet turbine.

I demand stats for this claim, sir.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

The judge said I wasn't allowed.

curse you age you make everything harder.

And then you reach a point where age begins to make certain things softer :(

Also, I thought the good Captian was thirty-ish.

well, so far, it looks like gaming's wining by a large margin... good thing we have a solid gamer contingent here.  TF2, LoL, WoW, TOR... good times!

... who's up for some DDR at some point?

I'd even go so far as to say that the large population of gamers is the very reason why gaming's winning by a large margin.

Shall we Burn The Floor, Sleepy?

... okay, if I'm making DDR puns, I need to go to bed... glad that there's interest in meetups just to hang out and enjoy some fun together though.

I'd be up for a meetup either in the mid-west (round AR, as I live there) or on the east coast (round VA or so).  I've done interstate travel before, so it wouldn't be as big a shock for me...but, I'm shy as hell around new people, so don't expect me to be very talkative for the first hour or two...

Course, if you guys came to AR, I could show ya around...if ye came during the summer, I'd suggest we spend at least one of our meetups at Buffalo River in a cabin or two...that place is just magnificent.  Not to say Little Rock isn't equally good, they're just good in two different ways.

...I wonder what my mom would think about bringing a bunch of "net friends" down to my place?  So long as its clean, and you guys keep things relatively clean (as in physically, like no littering) and respect the four of us (me, my bro, my ma, and my dad), I doubt she'd mind too much.  You buggers ain't stayin here, though!  I don't got tha room...

I'd also be willing to drive to MD if there were a fairly large meetup there. I think I'd be in shock half the time, but I can manage.

Not quite a meet up, but I'm thinking of organizing an FSTDT Mass effect 3 coop play through once I have a grasp on exactly what it is.
