Just downloaded Re-Volt today. Sweet, sweet nostalgia, it was my first racing game on the PC my father bought for me. I felt like a 10-year-old playing it.  :)
Ok seriously, is nobody even going to try and avenge my man-burrito?

I've decided to start up a second Minecraft project, to keep me from getting burnt out on my first one.  Its something a bit different, though...its a journal detailing the story of a man who finds himself in a very strange village, and the role he ends up playing in not just their history, but in the history of humankind.

Minecraft: The Villager

Enjoy!

One of the most common comparisons I've heard is like a cross between Skyrim and Dark Souls which is what got me interested in the first place, but the reviews I've seen tend to be all over the place.

A comparison with Dark Souls makes it sound interesting, I've been loving Dark Souls ever since I got it. I'm gonna see if there's a demo and check it out.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHDQHVkYq4g" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHDQHVkYq4g</a>

Okay, so we've got M.Bison, Zangief, Robotnik, Bowser, a DnD Beholder, the final boss from Altered Beast, Clyde, a generic ninja (possibly from Shinobi), "Kano", a double axe zombie from House of the Dead, Chun-Li, Q-Bert...

ALL THOSE CAMEOS. Is this going to be the video game version of Roger Rabbit?

The movie seems interesting enough. The trailer is awful, though.

Zangief = villain? Dafuq?

I suppose it could be that they simply assumed that since he is a russian (commie soviet to be excact) he must be the bad guy. Or it could be because in the Raul Julia movie he was working for the bad guys as well as some of the comics apparently. Likewise it could simply be that they thought having a big russian guy in a funny accent make such a smart speech would be funny.

Or it could be something more subtle, after all in the game Zangief is more of a rival than a villain therefore even though the player (unless played as Zangief) must defeat him to win the game Zangief himself isn't evil.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

Or maybe it's that Zangief utterly broke the Single Player of Street Fighter 4. Spinning Lariat, much?

Also, I'm sending my Nintendo 3DS in for repairs. It kept falling out of my pocket, so the shoulder buttons are kinda broken.

Notice that he uses the term "bad guy"

Not "villain"

In video games, the "bad guy" is anyone who fights against you.

Therefore, he doesn't need any deep motives, or evil history, or any sorta thing... he just needs to be an enemy :D

To quote him from the trailer...

"You are bad-guy, but this does not mean that you are... bad guy."
