My database class is driving me to need a lot more liquor than normal. We're using ReactJS which, if you're a person with any form of pattern recognition, knows that its just another flavour-of-the-month Javascript bullshit framework like AngularJS and Node.js before it. My professor put up some bullshit "data" (read, coloured bars with vague categories with nothing actually defining them in any way, shape, or form) about how the "best" (again, a term which he refused to define) startups used React.
Fuck, even ignoring all that, React is growing to be almost impossible to use. So, let's take ASP.Net; with it, you can just press F5 in Visual Studio and, boom, you get a live debug version of your site. Easiest fucking thing in the god damned world. How's React compare? I seem to need at least two different software packages (Node.js and React-specific bullshit), a godforsaken command-line application (those should be fucking banned, GUIs were made for a fucking reason), and it still doesn't give a live, local version of the site I can test via localhost. It gave me some QR code bullshit to scan on my phone to get the testing version of my site. Oh, and you wanna know what? The bullshit doesn't even fucking work.
I'm not even three full weeks into this class, and its already starting to be the biggest fucking headache I've ever had outside god damned theory of fucking computation.
TL;DR: ReactJS is bullshit, do not use it.
