McAfee has been real busy in Belize
« on: May 27, 2012, 09:44:11 pm »
This is literally the best tech related train wreck of the century. John McAfee, founder of McAfee antivirus, has officially gone past the Mel Gibson / Charlie Sheen threshold of sheer life ruining train wrecks.

Normally I do not link to gizmodo but…

http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2012/05/meth-labs-and-dead-dogs-how-the-founder-of-mcafee-antivirus-went-on-the-run-in-belize/

TL:DR going from dubious antivirus company to dubious antibiotic company to methlabs, illegal fire arms (according to Belize law) and sleeping with a 17 year old (John is 66 years old, not using real time protection either!).

Don't tell me that John is innocent, because he is not. There is a reason (other than the underage girls) why he is Belize of all places, it is to escape United States jurisdiction.

Why did you not read the article? I have neatly summarized it to 3 sentences.

While Illusive's original post was messy, it's unfortunately true.  This same article (and a few others) were picked up by Fark.

It's... pretty much a trainwreck, yes.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

Fucking seriously? He gave a damn link and summary.

As for McAfee, that's more of a clusterfuck than I could've imagined. I do remember reading somewhere that he was also attempting to develop an herbal viagra for women. He's definitely an...interesting feller. I think the first thing I did when I got this laptop was remove the McAfee software.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

This entire situation is so fucked up it almost looks like it anyway. I think we have a poster around here with a 'wanted' sign for McAfee around from one of our clients, I may go take my picture with it for this.

McAfee sucked anyway.  It caused more problems than it caused.

I guess that's why I use Linux at home... check out this page: http://librenix.com/?inode=21 (I know it's a bit out of date, but it still applies.)
