I'm guessing many of you haven't heard of
Jean Philippe Rushton, a Canadian psychology professor whose greatest achievement was being one of the greatest proponents of academic racism. In other words, his goal was to take crude and racist stereotypes and gloss them over with the veneer of "science." At a 2000
American Renaissance conference he was quoted as saying, "Whites have, on average, more neurons and cranial size than blacks… Blacks have an advantage in sport because they have narrower hips — but they have narrower hips because they have smaller brains." But my all-time favorite assertion of Rushton's from his publication
Race, Evolution and Behavior was that there is an inverse relationship between the size of one's brain and the size of one's penis--which is one of the most laughable and revealing assertions I've ever heard.
So yeah, one of the leading faces of academic racism is taking a dirt nap, and as they say on the Interwebz:
