Title: Quantum Levitation: how amazing is THAT?!

It has to do with super-cooled semiconductors and magnets, and such things.  I don't know much about it yet, but I already know that I'll have to go looking for my lower jaw as soon as I post this.  :o

Isn't that just the Meissner Effect? I don't disagree that it's awesome, but it's hardly new. After all, maglevs have been around for at least a decade or so.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Rat, but the materials that can do that have been around since the late '80s. Now, if you find one that works at room temperature...
