On the lighter side of news, Colbert is kinda-sorta-running for President of the United States of South Carolina.

Hey, looks like Cain has a decent sense of humor. Though I suspected he did when he continued to use the Pokémon references after it was pointed out to him. Still would have been a terrible candidate for President.

Now, I’m just thinking about a Crossfire-esque happening at the Republican primary debate. Would be awesome, especially if Colbert could do something like that without breaking character. :D

I believe it was a public opinion poll among South Carolina voters. I'm assuming Colbert came out on top because 1) he's from there, and 2) he's NOT ANY OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES. It's amazing how popular "not being those shmucks" makes you.

I would vote for him too. He is both funnier and less terrifying than the alternatives and to be honest, he cant possibly screw up as badly as they seem to.
