They already have something like that in Florida, where women who change their name need proof of EVERY SINGLE name change.

Technically, they don't "have" to, but the traditional view is that women were property and that our maiden name (hence the maiden part) indicated we belonged to our father and we changed it to reflect being owned by our husbands.
