Minimum wage is the water. The water is what is killing people. Ergo, the comic's implication is that minimum wage is destructive, and that welfare is a (broken) attempt to save people from the minimum wage. The artist does not want to leave them to drown; they want to get rid of the water.

At which point I'll take their metaphor too literally and ask how the hell they plan to do that.  The water is fucking there, what method of removing it could possibly exist that isn't way more expensive then just getting another boat?

The water is the minimum wage. The libertarian argument is that the minimum wage makes it illegal for you to hire people for less than a certain amount, and so it kills every job which provides less value than that amount (since nobody is going to hire you for more money than they make from your labour).

In this metaphor, removing the water means repealing minimum wage laws.

The cartoon does not bother to explain this because, like ~every political cartoon, it's aimed at people who already agree with it

Aren't they aware that even countries that pay minimum wage (or equivalent) to all employees have taxi drivers and cleaners?

Intellectual property is theft! You heard it from the Anarcho capitalists.

Just one more step and they'll be ready for Communism.

It's hard to tell with Dees since he has a bunch of cartoon enthusiastically supporting Trump as the candidate who will expose the Jews and others saying Trump's just another jewish puppet.

But maybe we shouldn't expect a flat earther to make sense.

Heh, I love Dees work too, say what you will about his opinions but the man is a talented artist, and his nonsense breathtakingly funny.  But the bigotry is just too much for to put in the good cartoon thread.

Maybe he deserves his own category for amaziterrible.

Speaking of which not Dees but while looking that last one up I discovered the truth of the Challenger disaster

So the Challenger disaster happened because it crashed into what is basically a glass ceiling above the Earth? But what about all of the other successful launches before and after?

Obviously all the other launches were faked. The Challenger launch happened when the secret overlords forgot to tell everyone to fake it and those NASA employees who aren't in on the secret actually fired the rocket for real.

Somebody explain to me: Why is this supposed to be a problem?

The complaints for Hillary taking money from speeches was mainly from Trump side of the political field in USA (and possibly some Bernie fans), but now there are several cartoonists and folks on the net claiming that this is hypocritical of Obama.

Supposedly Obama spoke out against taking money for speeches thriving through out his political career. So some people are calling him hypocritical.
