So NASA says that Jupiter might loose it's Great Red Spot in a Generation, I think this is both interesting and weird

Quote
NASA revealed today that the iconic Great Red Spot on Jupiter has shrunk to its smallest size ever – and astronomers have no idea why.

The Great Red Spot is a giant anticyclone storm that has been raging for at least 400 years, when astronomers were first able to build a telescope large enough to notice it. How it formed and has even lasted this long is still a mystery.

Neptune's Great Dark Spot disappeared in 1994, and an almost identical one took its place, appearing in the gas giant's Northern Hemisphere.  Maybe the same will be true in this case.

I'm not even interested in astronomy and this fascinates me on a level that I don't even understand.
