I have close to 1000 friends, but that is more so because I am in a band. I know maybe...uhh....30 of them personally? :P

Yeah, most of the people I've seen who have a huge amount of facebook friends are band members or a well known YouTube blogger or something along those lines.

Sometimes I find it a tad pathetic when people have more than 1000 friends, mainly because I can scan a person's Friends List and find people whom I know he actually hates, but added anyway merely to increase his friend count. Because friend count is like some sort of dick measuring contest, apparently.

I know an 11 year old who has 1000 FB friends. He doesn't know 90% of them. I do know the 450 friends I have, but I'm thinking of purging a quarter of them.

I don't even use my facebook at all... hell, I gave my mother access to it just so she could boost her friend-count for games and such, because I'm just literally not using it at all.

I don't even have 10 friends on facebook.

Now I'm thinking I should delete my account :-/

I would like to join this club, but I am not sure if I can maintain eligibility. You see, there is at least one family member I would like to keep in contact with who insists on doing almost all his communication through Facebook. And as I am in the process of relocating, I will also be having a bit more difficult time getting the updates from the other Facebook users in my family that have helped me stay up to date. So I may have to sign up just to keep my pulse on family things.
