No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

Sadly, even though the newspaper didn't fall for this fraud Trump fans are eating up the claims and think that Washington post is fake news because of this "sting operation."

EDIT: In related news, could USA please have a scandal where Trump isn't involved at all? https://theguardiansofdemocracy.com/trump-donated-10k-group-caught-trying-smear-washington-post-fake-moore-story/

This is getting boring.

Yeah WaPo kinda killed their sting pretty quickly.  Sadly this does nothing for the Trumpers who are his die hards.  Nothing will shake them.  Nothing.

Ironbite-he's got at least 15% of the country locked down.

Veritas really failed hard. I guarantee they'll try and get caught again and somehow look even worse and less reputable than they've already made themselves look.

Trumpettes are working hard to reframe this as "they meant to do this."

That is, they claim that the principle of the idea is ok and MSM should be tested like this. ...While downplaying how Veritas started this project to defend a child molester and trying to make the paper look bad was just a side effect. And that this attempt also was also meant to make people question victims of sexual assault by proving that some people are just paid to say bad things about (Republican) politicians.
