So, recently, I overheard that Chuck Norris and his wife made a Political PSA.
Okay, I thought, lets hear it. Is he gonna rant at the ottoman and claim its Obama or something?
What happened was EVEN BETTER. Oh...oh my God, Chuck Norris, you are not as relevant as you once were, and now you release...this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFLNmThRMNQ)
So, apparently, Obama being reelected will result in him taking off his skin suit, revealing it was Hitler the whole time, and then he'll recruit the most blond young men in the country and create his Thousand Year Reich on the back of whatever the hell he did to fake his death. Maybe Zombie Cyborg Vampire Nazis.
Because in a world like what Chuck thinks exists, that would be very plausible.

Wasn't there a glam band a few years ago called, "The Darkness?" Maybe that's what he's referring to? Anyway, this is the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. He sounds like he's about to break down completely. They're starting to believe their own lies. Wow!

I cant help shake this feeling that it is someone else doing a voice over because there is this ever so slight lip sync issue.
Then again, it probably is legit and wouldn't really surprise me. Chuck Norris has always been rich, so much so that it allowed him to play actor in all those movies he wrote, directed and produced. So, of course he is going to side with the party of the rich.
Still bringing out things like a thousand years of darkness is just creepy. I know republicans seem to have a general disconnect from reality, but when you think re-electing Obama will bring about a thousand years of darkness instead of say 4 years of general inactivity and pandering to business in general you have really lost it. Hell the thousand years of darkness trumps even the Obama will bring about sharia law crazy.

Hitler was trying to build an empire that would last a thousand years, but that doesn't mean that every use of a thousand years is automatically a Hitler reference.
That line is a direct quote from a speech that Reagan gave (http://reagan2020.us/speeches/A_Time_for_Choosing.asp) during the 1964 Presidential Election in support of Barry Goldwater. He (Reagan) wasn't talking about Hitler or fascism. He was being melodramatic and speaking against government "control" of the economy and the (nonexistant) slide toward socialism. I thought that the 1000 years of darkness was a biblical/theological reference to Armegeddon. It would have been very stupid (even by Ronnie's standards) to have compared Lyndon Johnson, a World War II veteran who earned a Silver Star, to Hitler.
The speech was stupid when Reagan gave it 48 years ago, and the quotation was dumb today, but neither Reagan or the Norrises said that anybody was Hitler. At least not in this instance, though it totally sounds like the kind of stupid shit that Norris would say.
