Well, we have a thread for anime in general, but since Bleach is on its final arc, I decided why not make another goddamn thread about it? I mean, for the remaining Bleach fans who haven't yet ragequit over Tite Kubo's epic trolling. So, first and foremost, is anyone else here a fan of the show/manga?

And depending on the direction this thread goes (if it goes anywhere at all) spoiler alerts may be necessary.

Also, I enjoy the anime.  Have been having trouble finding consistent volumes of the manga at the library in real life, though, so unless I skip large amounts of plot, I can't really continue reading it right now.

I use this every week when the new manga comes out. Each Wednesday there's a version translated into English and you can just click "Read Online"--I never download anything. Fair warning though, starting at chapter 480, shit gets real.

I'm actually enjoying the last arc so far. I like what Kubo is doing with it and the villains are, in my opinion, far better than Aizen.

I know that I'm going to hate Tousen based on a singular line, then I'm going to forgive him and hate Aizen instead.

I'm also kinda curious to see how they handle

I stopped when the chapter ended after Ichigo lost his Soul Reaper powers.  I would've continued but the website was forced to take all of its manga down and no longer function as a manga site.

Once you read through the arc where he gets his powers back (it's not a spoiler if it's obvious) you'll be on the last one like myself. The shit hits the fan in that arc. And actually I really like the story it's telling too. I won't go into any more detail than that for now.

Yes, the Vandenreich, that's precisely what I mean. I like the concept of a group that was more or less subjected to genocide by Soul Society taking their revenge on the Shinigami--most of whom had no role in what happened. I enjoy it because it (so far) looks like a story of the oppressed becoming oppressors, and it shows a lot of moral grey areas that have parallels in real life. I think it's actually pretty smart. Plus Old Man Yama's death was rather gruesome. I mean, damn.

Kirge Opie? Yeah, he does bear a resemblance. Plus their uniforms and use of gratuitous German doesn't help their case. I'm honestly waiting for someone to slip up and call Juha Bach "Mein Fuhrer".
