Apparently there's a "study" about how TEH GAYZ molest kids five times as often as Good And Honest Heteros. A study that is only referred to on a biased-as-shit Christian website.

I find it funny that now all of a sudden these people are demanding some one who actually served in the military be in the position. Now they do have a point ideally, the problem is that they seem to ignore that most of our civilian positions(Like Commander In chief, Secretary of The Army, etc) within the army have been held by civilians rather that former military.

"Peacenik" means anti-war pacifist. It was an insult used by old folks to disparage Vietnam War protestors, implying they were filthy communists for protesting the war. Protestors and anti war activists "owned" the word, and it entered the '60's & '70's popular vernacular, along with "hippie". So, yeah, I don't think Ironchew should feel insulted by being called one. You might as well call him a goll darned whipper-snapper and tell him to get offa your lawn.

Well, from my understanding, a "peacenik" isn't just somebody who's against a particular war, or war in general.  I use it to refer to doves who take it too far.
