Indonesian city wants non virgins out of high school

Except women who have an education are far less likely to engage in prostitution.

So basically, in order to attend public school and hopefully not go in for adultery and prostitution, teenage girls would have to submit to government-mandated sexual assault?

Isn't this going to do just the opposite?

By kicking girls out of high school, you're just narrowing down their job options and making it even more likely for them to become prostitutes.

A "virginity test"? How the fuck does anyone reliably determine whether someone is a virgin besides asking them and trusting they're telling the truth? Wait, I got it: it's some kind of "intact hymen" bullshit. So it's stupid on top of stupid, which is more than a little depressing.

they do realize that some girls are born with small/no hymens and that also it can be broken from playing sports, or using tampons as well as sex right?

Probably not. Or they do and they don't care because they just want an excuse to ban girls from schooling willy nilly.
