I don't remember.

I do remember that the dad had this weird black and white striped hair.

That would be 'Oban Star Racers'.  It's one of my favorite cartoons too.  Thank the Stars for our Roku box :3

I loved Scooby Doo as a kid, and a lot of the movies were actually pretty good too, although I refused to see the non-animated ones they released. I have no clue if/when they stopped making new episodes, but the originals are definitely superior. I didn't much care for the ones with Scrappy as the central character, though.
Guys, this is getting creepy. Can we talk about cannibalism instead?

You and most of the internet, sister :V

Honestly, even as a kid, I hated Scrappy Doo.

I think the hatred of Scrappy was a legal requirement.  I can't remember anyone who really liked him.

Scrappy was just meh in my opinion, I didn't hate him, but I didn't like him either, he was just there.

I think there's a Trope called "The Scrappy" but I'm not sure.

Me too. That said, at that age I subscribed to the "cartoons = good, no exceptions" school of thought, so that may be why I didn't hate him.

I still like the 90s X-Men series. It has some ridiculous moments, but it's entertaining.

Also, I recently rewatched all of the episodes from the original 80s Degrassi series. It also has its share of cheese and eye-rollers, and the acting is pretty bad, but it was actually fairly progressive and well-done for its time.

I was more in the apathetic Scrappy camp myself, looking back.  I just didn't pay much attention to him.

Degrassi... yeah that was the show that at the end of the opening theme, zooms in close on a girl's buttcheek...

Also not bad for a pre-2000 Canadian series.

It was Canadian?  Wow... the kids almost acted normal.

Who knew that Joey Jeremiah, inventor of swag, was actually a Canadian?
