I write this post because I am worried.

PersonalFailure, a writer of ForeverInHell blog (one of the atheist blogs I happen to enjoy), has written a post why she hates Rick Santorum, and the health problems she and her husband have (basically the husband has to pay at least $4000 for dentals or is likely to die). I am relatively poor at the moment and I cannot help at the moment with donations, and I am unfamiliar with the ways one can get social help in the USA. But I hate not being able to do anything.

How one can help bloggers like her? Is it possible to do from the outside of the country of the blogger?

Providing emotional support, even in the form of a reassuring comment on her blog, can go a very long way in helping someone. I know it doesn't feel like you're doing much, but simply letting someone know that you care really does make a huge difference.
