^Where did he say anything related to that?

Two women in Sweden have come forward claiming that Assange raped them.  Swedish Law enforcement takes these claims seriously.  There is no evidence whatsoever that the US government was behind this.  Taking the stance that Assange should be put on trial for sexual assault does not equal "the US government should be permitted to violate its own laws".

Pretty much this. Not to mention the whole rape allegation is tangential to the fact that he is using wikileaks to skew the American elections towards Putin's interests (Get Herr Donald elected, best case scenario the Donald is an idiot, worst case he balks at NATO giving Putin free reign in East Europe). Hence why I was not at all surprised when he reneged on his promise to release Trump's tax returns.
Does anyone take Donald Trump seriously, anymore?

Assange had no credibility left after he fled prosecution and hid out in England in the Ecuadorian embassy.

Ironbite-he's basically so far in bed with Putin he asks Putin to turn the lights out at night.  But Putin never does.

Quick translation: "I believe the US government should be permitted to violate its own laws, and anyone who attempts to penetrate the coverup I desire ought to be jailed".

Where am I wrong.

Getting back to this as I was at work this morning and couldn't properly respond, the fuck?  Yes I know the US would love to grab him up and disappear him into the ether but Sweden gets first crack.  And likely will get first crack if he ever leaves the embassy.  Beyond the rape allegations, yes he is a spy and should be treated as such.  Especially after the DNC email leaks with Social Security and credit card numbers.

Ironbite-man's a crook, a spy, and an asshole.  Why wouldn't I want the full weight of the law thrown at his head?

Swedish law enforcement absolutely does not take any of the allegations seriously. It's clearly a set-up.

The party's name is the Democratic Party. It has been since 1830. Please spell correctly.

"The party must go wholly one way or wholly the other. It cannot face in both directions at the same time."

Maybe Trumps IT guy actually knows what he's doin, and that's why we haven't seen those tax returns yet. The DNC should invest in better security specialists. or hire some better hackers than the Russian guys and do some counter-operations. After all, America has done similar stuff to what Russia has done in the past.
