I've heard of more people getting shot just by accident before. Why is this even news? As I said on the other topics related to firearms, people like this guy are why we can't have nice things.

It's news because it is the third time in a very short period of time that there has been a shooting with the intention of killing a lot of people.  This guy just happened to be less successful.  If it weren't for Aurora and Wisconsin, this story would probably only be a blip, but shootings are on the public's mind now.  Or maybe the media's mind.  It's kind of hard to tell the difference sometimes.

Bingo. Right now everyone's trying to find some "line of shootings" because of the last two jackwagons. It's just typical "OMG THE END IS NEAR" panicing and the media desperately trying to get ratings type overblowing that's at play here

As for intent, it was an eviction gone wrong. The guy had the intent, crazy as it is, to try and stay where he was through extreme measures. It's not the same intent the Aurora or Sikh shooters had
