Well, they canceled early voting. I was hoping to get that done today before any power outages. Since it doesn't matter in Maryland who I vote for for POTUS, I was going to go nuts on ballot questions. I did my homework, went ahead and emailed the different agencies wanting ballot monies and asked them what they want it for.

I just feel I should mention that every time I hear people talk about "Hurricane Sandy" in my mind it gets changed to "Hurricane Sandman."

Here's to you, old friend. *raises a toast*
I like to think Sandy is the old man's last attempt to piss on the world before he goes.

Sandy was his wife.  That's how he chose his username.

Well, assuming he was telling the truth. That was a pretty sarcastic thread.
I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

They've already started

Quote
A fundamentalist Christian minister has become the first to link Hurricane Sandy to marriage equality and the “homosexual agenda.”

Gay Star News first reported on Monday that Defend and Proclaim the Faith ministries founder John McTernan had posted on his blog that Hurricane Sandy is proof that “God is systematically destroying America.”

“If you add the area of the drought and now the hurricane together, it would be about 80 percent of the country!” the preacher wrote. “As I said, the Holy God of Israel is systematically destroying America right before our eyes.”
More of the same behind the link.
