Today we started a two day yard sale. It was supposed to start at 9am, but people started showing up about 6, before we even had signs up. It's not even 10 yet and we've already made more money and gotten rid of more stuff than I expected for the whole weekend.

Rescued a baby cottontail bunny, about 5 weeks old, from my stepdad's Golden Retriever. He had the little guy in his mouth, and dropped it on my foot. It was scared stiff, but it wasn't injured (I got some gardening gloves, checked it for injuries) so I put it in a shoebox until the drool dried off because it's still chilly out, then let it loose on the other side of the fence. Bunny took off as fast as it could.

Yard sale update: We're wrapped up for the day. Sales continued pretty strong until early afternoon. We've probably sold well over half our merchandise, and probably 75% of the total value. We're questioning whether we even need a second day.

BTW, the money is going towards a new glass-working torch for my wife.

We visted my family yesterday, spent time with my mom, played with the little puppies and got to see my baby brothers (who are 25 and 27).  This was the first time I saw my 27 yr old brother in about 3 years, since he travels a lot and is even planning on going to Costa Rica for a few months.
