Ignore by thread?

Is there any way to ignore what someone is saying in a specific thread? You don't mind what they're saying on the rest of the forum, you want to read the thread in question, but for just that one thread they've turned into a devil's-advocate douche-bag of the nth degree and you'd prefer not to see their opinion on the one topic.

Don't think that's an option. You just have to read past it.

There's no actual feature to the forums that allows this, though. You gotta either ignore stick them entirely or just skip their bullshit in that thread.
