You know, because of the cultural impact of the phrase "Catch 22," I kinda want to read the book of the same name. Of course, you COULD argue that those who are saying stupid shit should just be ignored as much as possible.
The book is hilarious. For someone who has never been involved with the military, because it is so absurd. For someone who has, because it is so accurate. Both are, of course, right.
Catch 22 meant that you could get out of a deployment if you're insane, but you have to actually apply for it before you can leave. Applying for it is an act of sanity (self-preservation), so it automatically disqualifies you.
