I think gangsters, whilst not exactly PG rated, are already teenager-friendly anyhow. And the Mafia are positively cuddly, thanks first to the Godfather films and then Fat Tony.

No, what's really gonna be a mindfuck is if we discover that, by the year 2200, the Russia Mafiya are thought to just be a bunch of misunderstood community organisers.

I dunno:

- tried to get out of a morally questionable business.
- more morally ambiguous than popular culture seems to portray him.
- his time in power saw the development of new military technology (Gatling guns, ironclads etc.)
