^^^ Accurate.

I don't have social anxiety as in the actual mental issue, but my depression and Aspergher's left me with similarly-underdeveloped social skills and feelings of being constantly judged. I can only imagine how much worse it is for people with actual social anxiety disorder.

Growing up, I turned my social anxiety into anger against the injustice of all that judging that wasn't really going on as much as I thought. It made me a sullen, unsmiling kid, but I didn't feel scared at least. Not recommended. And not really pertinent anyway, since SA is at least partly a brain chemistry thing.
