Octagonal makes more sense to me because, the closer to a circle the box is, the more...form-fitting, I suppose, it is for the pizza, thus reducing the chances of it moving around too much during transit and potentially buggering the product.

Is the pizza moving around during delivery something that happens often? Even given a square box, as long as the side of the square is the same as the diameter of the pizza it shouldn't move around. There's free space in the corners but not to the side.

You'd be surprised.  I've gotten a few that had been smooshed up in transit, before.

[pizza guy]Pizza boxes are square because we get them unfolded and have to do it ourselves. A circular box would be a bitch to fold. Octagonal I could see working - Domino's boxes are actually half-octagon, half-square.

And yes, the pizza does move around in the box sometimes. Usually because the driver holds it at a bad angle. The pizza is a little smaller than the box (like a centimeter or two), but the main problem is that pizzas aren't rigid.[/pizza guy]

I had a convo with a Christian on DA who cited this movie (and only this movie) as proof why atheists are always in the wrong. I told him I had never even heard of this film and he had this weird opinion that you can be affected by a film even if you've never seen it. I should've asked him how affected he was by London After Midnight or The Day the Clown Cried.

They did not realize that sometimes those ads might show up in rather amusing locations.
