That said, what the hell is wrong with the Sonic fandom? I've seen more Bat Fuck Insane from them than any other video game fandom in existence.

I thought it meant human shields although I point out the Taliban and Al Queida don't really stand in front more like behind or beside or if the person is a suicide bomber in multiple pieces (the Taliban can't stand in front of American soldiers since they are better equiped and would win a straight up fight)

Well, the corn grows as high as trees there. Nebraska does has some large areas of forest, but it was mostly vast grassland prairies before all the farming happened.
