I was going to comment on how Yahtzee always accentuates on the negative and that he's a terrible, egotistical reviewer and his followers considers his reviews "The Gospel" and are devoid of critical thinking skills, but then I realized that all this time I've been taking his stuff too seriously. Much like those sore teenagers who whined about his "negative" review on Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

One good thing I got out of the TTLG forums was that, apparently, one of the ladies there was one of his exes, and it seems that his ego is quite genuine.  That is to say, its not just part of his act.  There's also begging his fans for money to visit them at PAX or somesuch when The Escapist could've easily footed the bill.
The Escapist is a bunch of cheap assholes. The never would have done that. They'd rather cut their own dicks off.
True that.  Tis a pathetic state; you've got the coin to send one of your front-runners to a well-known convention, and you won't foot the bill despite the fact it'd be a perfect opportunity to get new folks coming to your site.  People just don't think, do they?
Nope. They also ban members if they don't agree with mods. Or, in the head mod's case, just outright delete accounts. Happened to me.
What I used to think was me is just a fading memory. I looked him right in the eye and said "Goodbye".

papers please sad

Caveman Kefka has tears?

Yes. Papers, Please looks like a depressing game. It's about a serious subject, and that is a scenario involving a ficitonal Nationalist, Nativist nation controlling immigration from a portion of a nation it had conquered so civilians can return to their families. But at the same time, you have to deal with separatists and terrorists in line, invading your country and committing atrocities on your soil.

And because it deals with a very serious subject and moral dilemma, even being in the helm of a sinister political system, I'm going to skip that game.

Yeah but when you're not on your phone, you tend to be a bit hard to understand.

In theory the state is communist but as a whole seems very feudalistic.

I despise people who spoil the game in reviewing it. I have been able to make dozens of reviews without spoiling something.

Well, it's really hard to give a review of Spec Ops that doesn't spoil it unless it's nothing but "Go play this game. I don't care what it looks like. Play it."

Yeah, okay. You can say the plot is full of political intrigue without spoiling what that is. It's only impossible when you don't even want to try which frankly is what it boils down to when a lot of review authors spoil something.

Snape kills Dumbledore.

He is sent back as Dumbledore the Albus and rallies the armies of Magical Britain in the struggle against Voldemort, who is finally defeated when Harry sends his last Horcrux into a volcano. He later crowns Alastor Moody as Minister for Magic.

Wait, that doesn't sound right.

No, but that does sound like an awesome idea for an alternate timeline fanfic.

Much to my delight, I have discovered that Rome: Total War does in fact run on my PC. Barely, but it's still playable. Tomorrow, my legions shall conquer the known world.

I'm thinking that if it's playable, it's not "barely" runnable, it's actually fairly runnable :P

But that's just semantics on my part.

Since we're talking about mods again, SXP got an update recently and now it's a fantastic mod that makes Skyrim pretty dang fun.  I don't remember if I talked about it before, so I'll just sum it up: SXP is a mod that adds Experience to Skyrim, which you can then use to purchase skills.  The corrolary, of course, is that you have to disable your ability to level up skills by using them.  I made a Dark Priest kinda character, and he's pretty much... well....

I gotta say, Project Zomboid has the best music of any zombie game I've ever played.  Also, managed to last almost two weeks (13 days, 1 hour) in-game and only died because I got lost, but not before taking 354 rots down with me.

My personal favorite is a toss-up between the Metroid and Star Fox drawings.
