April fools day is annoying. I fully support John Oliver's pledge to not make pranks since it is just childish. Particularly I hate that news agencies are taking part in making pranks as well.

April Fool's on me; I gotta speak tonight in front of 60 mostly elderly neighbors for an annual condo association meeting. It's not so much the public speaking thing, but the content. I have to explain why the Board wants to install pan-tilt-zoom HD security cameras, monitored over the 'net by a company 200 miles away. A lot of association members want to continue paying 5 thousand bucks more a year so that the two equally old, clueless (and half blind) security guards will ring their doorbells when they forget to close their garage doors. So, I get to tell them, as a Board officer, that this is not our problem to solve for them - especially when it equals five fucking grand extra a year - and explain what a time delayed garage door controller is. Sigh. I should probably spike my cola can with rum. Or, just dump the cola and fill 'er up.

That sounds like a great datamining opportunity for the NSA or any corporate entity that sells tracking information to third parties.

Computer keeps shutting down while I play Skyrim and I can't figure out why. It doesn't look like overheating and no bug fix I've found on the internet works.

The computer that I bought two days ago kept blue-screening right out of the box. Fortunately, I was able to exchange it for a new one at no charge, but it was still really annoying.

People taking quotes out of context in an effort to back up and/or justify their bullshit.  For example:

Yeah, that quote was taken out of context.  What Herzog really said was:

I've had a migraine for two days which includes severe and rapidly alternating emotional symptoms.  I've gone from being so sad that I can't move to so hyper that I can't sit still every few hours.  I'd take the pain over that any day.
