Wykked's account is basically accurate, but sharper than I like. I don't know the exact details. For all I know it may have been accidental, and he just wanted to leave the group but dissolved it since he was the only admin in it.

Invited GLaDOS and Distind, but there was only one search result for "Lithp" and it was probably not you, Lithp. Lithp_ii didn't work, nor did Lithp_2. If you can link your Steam user page it's easier to add you.

Holy Blue Screen of Death, Batman! Just had a MASSIVE corruption of several files on my comp caused by a power surge (according to the news a local power substation, um, kind of, well, blew up).

No big deal, really. Office went down. I have the discs. 3 mins to reinstall and I have isolated backups of all documents. No sweat. A few other minor things....then disaster.

STEAM was irrevocably corrupted. Beyond any possibility of repair. I was forced to delete everything in the STEAM folder. I had more than sixty games in there. I am currently attempting to salvage my save game files before redownloading every goddamn game I had on STEAM.

Sigh.

At least no actual software was lost, and I'm 90% certain I can save the save files, but DAMN is this annoying. No video games for sandman tonight. Maybe I'll play some Assassin's Creed or Minecraft or City of Heroes or Champs Online or LOTROL. Those weren't on STEAM. Might fire up Rise of Flight. haven't flown in a while....

Sort of the reason why I like Steam, don't have to worry about scratched or corrupted CDs like with my old late 90s/early 2000 games because their in a digital library.
