I just got back from my first anime convention. Once upon a time, I swore that I was not a nerd, and would never get into that kind of stuff. Now I wear it like a badge of honor, and it was a lot of fun. I may have also been convinced to start watching Attack on Titan.

Working on a new video; the client company handed their old crane simulator off to Robotics Technology Park of Alabama, and I filmed it and the mobile robotics museum inside. So now I'm making a 1 minute video for them to talk about it!

Maybe a minor thing, but still nice. I went out to Qdoba for lunch today, only to realize at the register that I'd forgotten to stop by the bank, an thus couldn't pay for my meal. The local manager responded by giving me a "good customer discount" (I've been there before). So now I was able to afford my full meal despite my error. Feels nice.

I've been thinking about buying an airbrush for my Gundam and Warhammer 40K models, which would've set me back about $400. Turns out, my dad has an airbrush he bought and never used, and an air compressor. So now I only have to buy about $50 worth of stuff and I'm good to go.
