What are the rules on hunted animals? I know the ancient Israelites had to have hunted animals, but I don't recall any rules about them.

Now, that's just marketing bullshit.  The OT specifically says pig is verboten.  I don't think even a rabbi blessing the bacon would make it kosher.

In London slang 'kosher bacon' or 'that bacon's proper kosher' would refer to proper from a pig bacon. Usually with a lot of ironic humour attached.
