Let's dox people because we think they send abusive messages!  I mean, when have trolls ever used false identities?

Also, since when have trolls reacted like that?
Excuse me, sir, do you have a minute to talk about your lord and savior, Hannibal Barca?

Yeah, if the pagans are so smart, why did Jesus invade Pagan-land on the back of a dragon and kill them all!

I'm not sure what you mean here, that is in fact how he reacted.

Anyway, the thing is kind of complicated. Rawlings did harass Mary Beard, under his own name. It seems weird to say Beard is not allowed to tell her followers on twitter that someone sent her a message calling her "a filthy slut". Even though that has the predictable consequence that, her being a public figure, a ton of harassment will fall against Rawlings in turn, it's not quite doxxing.

If his address had been posted publicly it would have been going too far. But that did not happen, as far as I know (someone offered, but he apologised before it happened). I'm not a fan of turning internet mobs against people, but the problem with that is that it means public figures are being held to higher standards than private individuals when it comes to saying "hey, this asshole harassed me over twitter".

For some trolls, the wrath of momma is greater then anything they've ever experienced.

Ironbite-especially if they're considered "model citizens"

I actually like that she had that dork's stuff sent to his mommy. If all of those Male Supremacist meatheads had their usual schpeil shown to their mothers, it would be awesome!

How could Lady Evil NOT know?

Maybe she does but just had a brain-fart. It happens to people from time-to-time. I get them a lot.

Breivik's massacre was a huge thing in Europe but I can see why the average Yankee wouldn't have heard about it. The shooter was a white christian and the victims were socialists (it was a meeting of young socialists) and since you can't blame the shooting on black people or Muslims American media probably didn't want to talk about it as much.
No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!

Actually, I remember it being a huge deal in America.

Sorry, USA, do you need ice for that burn?

Still, isn't that pretty much always reversed in the states? Black guy or Muslim does a bad, they're painted as a terrorist, their ethnic/religious background is accented and their previous criminal record is touted as an example of why you shouldn't sympathize with them. White Christian does a bad, and suddenly they're just mentally unwell and they just made ONE mistake, they're shy and sensitive and good kids, really, honestly. I don't know what parallel universe the cartoonist lives in, but they can fuck off back there tbh.

I'll second UP in firmly stating that the Anders Breivik massacre was in fact very prominent in the news here.

I sympathize completely. However, to use against us. Let me ask you a troll. On the one who pulled it. But here's the question: where do I think it might as well have stepped out of all people would cling to a layman.

As a shocking tragedy. Americans in general see all of Northern Europe as peaceful and progressive. That a devil of a man would callously gun down a bunch of teenagers frolicking on a lakeshore at a what we would call a Summer Camp was just fucking mind boggling!
