Thanks for the clarification, there are no Chick Fil A's around where I live, so I've never saw any of the commericals, not to mention I don't watch much TV to begin with.

So Chick-fil-A must be a Southerner thing. Then again, the headquarters is located in Georgia, a state run by reactionary fuckholes against LGBT and reproductive rights, even teaching evolution (and dismissing creationism as a bunch of balderdash, which it is). I feel sorry for anyone who lives there (shout out to SpaceProg for being the few Georgians who are able to think with a properly functioning mind) and who has to deal with this bullshit.

...But that's not to say that Texas (where I live) isn't also a reactionary shithole run by complete dumbasses against LGBT and reproductive rights as well...

Thanks, Mate.   Gotta say though it's not quite that bad here.  the reactionaries aren't really paid that much attention to.  For a Southern state, it's really not too shabby.  I'd say if you had to live in the South, GA would be one of the states to come to.

BINGO, even here in NY, we have a few, though most of ignorant folks tend to be the "educated" ones, that buy conservative bs, just so they can make an extra buck, and not give a shit about their fellow human being.

I was in Atlanta two years back for a layover. On the flight down, I was looking at all the buildings- it's always fun to see how small the are. Then, as we got low enough, I started looking for people walking so I could get some size reference. I didn't see any, at all, the whole time.

My grandparents insist that the homeless in their area spent too much time using the phones to socialize instead of trying to turn their situation around. If that's the case more often than not, then I'm inclined to agree that it's a rather careless policy/program.
