No "BENGHAZIIIII!" setting?

Oh, I get it, they want to reverse everything. Got it!

There should still be a "Benghazi" setting though....Another "Drive" setting, perhaps?

GDP in the UK has returned to 2008 levels. Naturally, the Conservative Party and the press are jubilant; taking six years to achieve nothing is now the bar for success in UK politics.

It's a good thing we had context, because otherwise I'd have no idea what this cartoon was about.

What annoys me about this one is the other bones in the pile.
Is it trying to say Immigration, global warming, and gay marriage aren't important and that the only thing that we should care about is Campaigh finance reform?
 (The rest are excellent, though.)

Are you trying to say that gun control, abortion, and science education standards aren't important and that the only things that we should care about are immigration, global warming, gay marriage, and campaign finance reform?
Consumption is not a politically combative act — refraining from consumption even less so.

I think the point is not that those subjects are unimportant, just that they are long-standing issues where the Left vs Right dynamics prevents people with cooperating on something both sides can agree is in their interest.

Though that just might be me projecting my views onto the cartoon.

There is also an entirely different argument to be made that if we get campaign finance reform then we might fix a major failure in the system which would then help sorting out all those other issues. I don't really buy it, but it's there.

Here is a big one:

No matter what happens, no matter what my last words may end up being, I want everyone to claim that they were:
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."
Aww, you guys rock. :)  I feel the love... and the pitchforks and torches.  Tingly!
