To be fair, this applies to the Democratic candidates equally well.

Oh, great, I have the simultaneous urge to laugh hysterically AND barf!  :P

Ted & Jeb are the funniest. Ted's certainly got the lashes. Rand's expression is silly, too.

Mike Luckovich cartoons are another reason I miss living in Atlanta sometimes.

I sympathize completely. However, to use against us. Let me ask you a troll. On the one who pulled it. But here's the question: where do I think it might as well have stepped out of all people would cling to a layman.

Not quite what I meant, Spuki. More like civic pride.

I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

... I don't quite grok that one.
There is light and darkness in the world, to be sure.  However, there's no harm to be had in walking in the shade or shadows.

The yellow and black on the person shows he's an anarcho-capitalist. Snacks often claim taxes are theft because people don't choose to pay them but people claim this isn't the case since they can leave thier country.

This is a disconnect because anacaps do not believe rent is theft despite not being fundamentally different than taxes.

So...taxes are rent on a national scale?  That's actually one of the best analogies I've heard in a while.  Makes a hell of a lot of sense, to boot, because the government, like a landlord, uses part of the rent money to keep the house in good working order.  At least, that's how its supposed to work on paper.

I think the idea is that in English common law, ever since the Domesday Book, the monarch owns all the land. Taxes (property taxes at least) are the price we pay for being allowed to live on that land.

Sorta-political, but I'd say it counts.
