I decided to grab Gnomoria, since it only set me back $2 after selling my Summer Adventure trading cards. Pretty much what I was hoping for. I.E. Towns without the shitty developer drama.

Against my better judgement, I got a copy of Minecraft. Spent the past few hours excavating my lava dungeon...

Currently playing an Xbox LIVE Arcade game I downloaded forever ago as part of Games With Gold called Deadlight.  Its...eh.  Its your traditional platformer, only with zombies.  Oh, I'm sorry, not "zombies."  We don't say that word in this game.  No, instead they're called shadows.  The narrative is trying too hard to be gritty and "mysterious," and I don't find myself getting lost in the game or its story, nor do I find myself giving two flying fucks about this dude or his family.  You're dropped in with pretty much zero exposition, and the main guy has less character development than a typical Liam Neeson role.  Its pretentious and kinda boring, my only consolation is that I didn't spend any money on it.

The problem is that you only get exposition through finding his journal pages.  Yep.  I played through it and beat it with near 100% completion in... something like 6 hours.

Good so far. But the real test will be to see how I'm doing in a year and a half or so.
