...From the list I recognize two people who weren't born into money. And Gates and Buffet have plans of donating most of their money when they die. The real problem with inequality is how it stays for generations and generations. The richest families of Venice have been the same for over 500 years for example and despite feudal system going away for a while upwards mobility is almost as rare as evidence of trickle down economics working.

If trickle down economics worked it would mean that wealth would be redistributed to poorer people and improve their life all around the society instead what we see is few random individuals getting richer.

Much like if the Shroud of Turin actually belonged to a dude named Christ not meaning that there's a god, just because upwards mobility happens doesn't mean that trickle down must, therefore work.  It's just evidence of upwards mobility; without further study into the phenomenon, one cannot ascertain any causal linkage between it and any other phenomenon.
