The Beyond: Two Souls demo made the game look even more unappealing to me.

The movement of the camera almost makes me nauseous, as does the odd supernatural aura that appears when you're controlling Aiden. The combat looks awful, and I already dislike the protagonist. In GTA games, they're actually able to make you support your character, even though you're murdering people and doing tons of other illegal things. In this, I just wanted the police to kill her, really. I know it's early in the game so I obviously don't have as much detail on her as a person, but still. Hating the intro this much is not a good sign.

One of the achievements for Lego Marvel is, "Welcome to Level Seven."  I wonder how long they've known.

Maybe it's just because I didn't have to actually slog through the gameplay, but I get the impression from a Let's Play that Kayne and Lynch 2 is in fact so bad it's good. It has me regularly laughing my ass off at the constant yelling and general absurdity.

After pre-ordering the turd fest that was Empire, I haven't bought a single TW game, and it seems for good reason. Patches weren't able to fix the clusterfuck that Empire was.

Edit: Rising Storm is so much fun.

It doesn't actually play too badly. It's just that it tries to be so gritty and dark and realistic that it doesn't really make you care.

Go with napoleon total war. Its smaller in scope but optimised waaaaaay better than empire
