Wheeeeee people are freaking out about a supposed graphical "downgrade" for Xenoblade X when we've seen actual gameplay footage of it for over a year and it doesn't look as good as the CG announcement trailer.

Seriously. People are saying it's as bad or worse than Watch Dogs and Colonial Marines. Didn't know outright dishonest showings months before release were the same as knowing full well what the game would look like over a year before launch.

Replaying GTAIII. It's like revisiting an old friend. Gotta love the odd bit of nostalgia every now and again.

That always feels good, don't it? When I caught a shiny tentacool, I trained it up and beat a gym leader with it. Form AND function.
Excuse me, sir, do you have a minute to talk about your lord and savior, Hannibal Barca?

I think I should first point out that "game engine footage" doesn't necessarily mean the game will look exactly like that. That said, if they can make it look close to that, it'll still be a damn good looking game.

The pairing of a Jetpack with a rocket launcher by a Sullustan in that trailer was pretty cool, I must say.

I prefer GTA IV. It's more gritty. 5 just feels like saints row two.

Really?! I found IV to be far too bland and up itself for my tastes.

Aye, IV took us away from San Andreas, which was HUGE and enjoyable and funny, and put us in the body of a moody Eastern European living in a tiny shithole of a city living out a rather crap attempt at a serious crime drama.  IV was a graphical and engine improvement, and that was pretty much it; every other piece of it was decidedly inferior to San Andreas and laughable compared to V.  V actually tries to be fun and amusing, which is what GTA has been since before Saint's Row was a lecherous gleam in its father's eye.

Oh, and let's not forget, "'Ey, Niko, Eets your cousin! Want to go bowling?"

Yes, that's want I want in a Grand Theft Auto game. To be constantly interrupted by dickhead NPCs so I can play some utterly tedious minigames for no reward whatsoever. The girlfriends in San Andreas were by far its worst feature, but they at least had the courtesy to be killable, or at the very least keep their goddamn mouths shut if you decide to ignore them.

Hell, that's what I did with Denise in San An.  She was fucking up the Caligula's thing by being a possessive bitch trying to claim I was her boyfriend even though we'd never gone on a single date since we first met.  I.  Absolutely.  LOATHED.  Roman Bellic.  He was the single worst thing in that entire cramped sewer of a game.

Took me 3 days to download Assassins Creed Black Flag because Xbox Live kept disconnecting.  Either they were having problems, or a lot of people were trying to download the game as well.  My wife, who was trying to download it to her system as well, got so frustrated, she bought us both a copy online.  I completely forgot it was still downloading until last night, when it completed.  Oh well, I'll just keep the copy she bought me as a back-up, in case I ever need to delete the game.
